Bob Gammill, CPC, is the founder and President of The Gammill Group. Bob started in the business in 1971 after graduating from The Ohio State University. Prior to founding The Gammill Group he was the Senior Vice President of RE Lowe & Associates. During his tenure he built and developed RE Lowe & Associates into the largest executive search firm in Columbus. Bob prides himself on quality. He delivers that quality to both candidates and clients by conducting a thorough interview process, interview preparation, and understanding that personality and culture fit are vital components to the search process. With 40 years of experience, Bob has successfully completed thousands of searches – that experience allows him to impact the selection process and offer sound, relevant advice from a third party perspective. Jon Sammons is the Vice President of Operations for the firm. He joined the team in 2004 as a staff recruiter; over the last eight years Jon as developed into a motivating leader who is responsible for daily operations, training/development, and business development. Jon attended Hanover College in Indiana where he played varsity football. After graduation Jon worked as the general manager of a Sears store located in northern Ohio. Jon’s passion for giving his best is highlighted through his interaction with his candidates. He strides to make sure each candidate is treated with the utmost respect and care, regardless of who they are interacting with at The Gammill Group. As a business developer, Jon always takes the necessary time to fully grasp the needs of his clients. He will listen and offer sound advice to ensure he matches their needs with what The Gammill Group can deliver. During Jon’s tenure he has completed searches in hospital operations, clinical operations, revenue cycle, accounting, finance, and various managed care departments. Jon resides in Blacklick, Ohio, with his wife, Janie, and their three children. When he has free time he enjoys running (marathons), cycling, and he recently completed his first half- ironman.

Jim Parsons, CPC, is the Vice President of Staffing and Training for the firm. Jim joined the team nearly 20 years ago. Previously, Jim taught undergraduate courses at Franklin University and worked in various HR functions in the healthcare field. He earned his undergraduate degree from Capital University where he played varsity basketball and his master’s degree from Central Michigan University. Over the last five years Jim’s role has evolved. He focuses much of his effort developing and molding current employees and managing our training department. He has produced numerous training DVDs on specific topics for the industry. If you ask Jim what sets him apart from his competition, he will answer simply, “my 20 years of experience in the industry”. Jim resides in Gahanna, Ohio. He has three grown sons, a crisis counselor, a lawyer and a doctor – or what Jim refers to as the trifecta. Steve Grace, CPC, is a non-equity Partner with the firm. He joined the team in 2000, but has been in the industry since 1983, completing searches from director to CEO both for providers and payers in almost every functional area. After graduating from Thiel College in Pennsylvania where he started on the varsity baseball and football teams, Steve began his professional career in the in the banking industry. He also spent two years as the Administrative Director of a 260 bed skilled and intermediate nursing facility prior to joining the recruiting industry. As a Partner, Steve is focused on building long lasting trustworthy relationships with clients. He prides himself on being a student of both the profession he is in, and the industry he serves. At the end of a placement process Steve’s candidates know that he sincerely cares about them, and what “their” priorities are given their current professional and personal goals. Steve resides in Columbus, Ohio, with his wife of 36 years, Kathy. Steve and Kathy have three grown children, Jeremy, Allison and Gillian. They also have one granddaughter. Wes Reed is a Senior Recruiter in our healthcare practice. Prior to joining the firm in 2008 he worked for a publically traded national contingent search firm. That experience coupled with his drive, passion, and desire to deliver have made him an asset to his candidates and clients. Wes views the relationship between his candidates and clients as a partnership that is based on mutual respect. As a senior recruiter Wes is responsible for developing new relationships with clients and matching candidates with open positions. Bonnie Trail, RN, CPC, joined the firm in 2008 as a Senior Recruiter. Previous to her transition into the recruiting industry nearly 20 years ago Bonnie acquired 18 years of direct healthcare experience within acute care and physician group practice settings. She has both clinical and nurse management experience in medical-surgical, critical care, and oncology. She also held administrative positions within other functional areas of hospital operations. As a business developer Bonnie makes a commitment to her client that she will complete their search. She provides custom recruiting, listens carefully, and promises to provide the best candidates available. As a recruiter Bonnie builds relationships and does her best to understand individual needs: professional, personal and family, while taking into account their priorities and overall best fit. Bonnie focuses primarily on leadership roles from director level to CEO within the healthcare industry. Bonnie has completed searches in most functional areas including operations, finance, marketing, clinical, and human resources. Jenny Coffey specializes in the recruitment of senior level healthcare executives working in acute care hospitals, managed care, and integrated delivery systems. Jenny successfully parlayed her past experience in the advertising field to recruiting. Her ability to build relationships and provide world class service has and will continue to drive her career as a successful executive recruiter. Jenny resides in Powell and is an avid sports fan (it can be tough loving the Browns but somebody has to do it!). She was raised in a musical family and could often be found pounding out scales on the piano at a young age. Her love of music has grown over the years. At times instead of a typical vacation Jenny will use her time off to follow a band or musician that she loves. Working in the healthcare industry also provides strong motivation to stay fit and healthy; Jenny practices yoga two or three times a week while also making equal time for the gym. Jenny’s strong commitment to customer service and attention to detail has contributed to her success.
